Declaration & Exercise of the Week

Hi Everyone!!

This week’s declaration is based on Jeremiah 31:3 and is: God loves me with an everlasting love. He drew me with His unfailing love. I chose this verse because Valentine’s Day is approaching; and people tend to put unrealistic expectations on their spouses or significant others…..and then are disappointed when their expectations go unmet. The only unfailing love is Yeshua/Jesus. His love is not based on 1 day of the year; and it was a decision that He made……regardless of our choices and behaviors. God loves us period. He loves us because He chose to.  It is my hope that when people read and meditate Jeremiah 31:3, that they would get a revelation of the God kind of love…..as defined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

The exercise for this week is a half squat using a chair. It strengthens the glutes; which helps to prevent lower back, hamstring and knee injuries. Have an EXCELLENT rest of your week and I’ll see you around!

Children’s Prayer of Salvation

A couple weeks ago both my 6 and 7 year youngs told me that they wanted Yeshua (Jesus) to come and live in their hearts. I lead them in the following prayer:

Heavenly Father,

Acts 16:31 says to believe on the Lord Yeshua, and I will be saved.

Today I’m making the decision to walk by faith.

I repent of iniquities, trangressions and sin,

I now invite You, to come on in.

Yeshua come into my heart, live in and through me;

So that I can be all, that You’ve created me to be.

I’m now all Yours; and there’s no doubt, You are now in; and the devil is out!

In Yeshua’s name,

Amen!

If you have children, please feel free to share this poem with them. I actually wrote it; and about 7 others last month when I thought about the faithless prayer that I prayed as a young kid. It is my heart’s desire to teach my children and others (especially children), how to pray according to the word of God….or effectual and fervent prayers. When I was a kid, I remember my siblings and I praying: “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.” The problem with this prayer is that it’s inconsistent with what the word of God says. Isaiah 26:3 (CSB) says: You will keep in perfect peace the mind [that is] dependent [on You], for it is trusting in You. Remember that our souls are made up of our minds, will and emotions): so He has us covered.  In Psalm 91:16, God declares that He will reward His followers with long lifePsalm 118:17 says that we shall live and not die. The infamous prayer/poem mentioned above sounds good; but it’s full of unbelief and therefore, ineffective.

It is my sincere hope that all parents teach their children how to pray effectively. I will be sharing additional short prayers/poems that are aligned with the Word of God. Please feel free to share them with the children in your life. As always, have an EXCELLENT week and I’ll see you around the blogisphere!

Super Song Sunday

I’ve made it my business and delight to consistently pray for our nation, the president and our leaders. I realize that our  nation is dealing with birth pangs. God is about to birth something new; and He needs our faith to to declare His word,  in order to bring about His will in the earth.  No matter what it looks like right now, I truly believe that by declaring God’s word over this nation, will bring us back into divine alignment with the plans and purposes that God has for the U.S; as well as, bring about a harvest of souls into His kingdom. Who else is praying for the hearts of the people in our nation; as well as for our leaders? Below is a video with lyrics of the song “Standing” by William McDowell. I fully trust God that we will see what we are praying for. Have an EXCELLENT Sunday everyone; and go after the presence of God!

Declaration & Exercise of the Week

Hi Everyone!!

I hope that all finds you well. My family and I took a little staycation last week, so I’m just getting back into my groove. This week’s declaration is based on Proverbs 4:21 and is: I will keep my eyes on God’s word and see myself in it. Be sure to say it and meditate on it to get it down from your head into your heart. The exercise of the week is hoola hooping. When done correctly, it can strengthen your core muscles; so be sure to pull your belly button into your spine to keep your core muscles engaged. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you around the blog!

Fast from wrong thinking: “I’m Having Such a Hard Time Defeating the Devil.” — Sound Of Heaven

I have read SO many great and encouraging posts today. I’m so grateful for all of you who encourage and speak the truth of God’s word. God bless you all, exceedingly and abundantly above all you could ever ask or imagine. I’m sharing this one; as a reminder to myself. Thank you Sound of Heaven!

Today we’re fasting from the thought that says, “I’m having such a hard time defeating the devil.” LET’S CHANGE IT TODAY 1. The devil has already been defeated—at the cross of Jesus Christ! (1 John 3:8) 2. It’s the fight of faith, not the fight over the devil. Jesus defeated the devil. (Colossians 2:15) BELIEVE […]

Declaration & Exercise of the Week

Greetings Everyone!!

This week’s declaration is based on John 3:16 (NIV) and is: God love’s me. Say it, and meditate on it, and say it some more, until you believe it! The exercise is a health bounce on the mini-trampoline. It’s gentle on the joints. It increases the functionality of the lymphatic system; which fights bacterial and viral infections. It can improve the pelvic floor muscles, among many other benefits. Check out the vid below; and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask! As always, have an EXCELLENT rest of your week; and I’ll see you around the blogosphere!

PUSH!

The poem below is based on Proverbs 13:12 & 1 Corinthians 15:57

Proverbs 13:12 (MSG) – Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around.

Proverbs 13:12 (TPT) – When hope’s dream seems to drag on and on, the delay can be depressing. But when at last your dream comes true, life’s sweetness will satisfy your soul.

1 Corinthians 15:57 (AMP) but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The title of this poem is PUSH, because that’s what women do, who are about to deliver a baby. The day before my first child was born, my very good friend Angel called me and said: “I feel like I need to tell you this: When you get to the point where you feel like you can’t go on, the baby is about to come.” The very next day, my water broke; and I went to the hospital to have my baby. I got to that point when I felt like I couldn’t go on and like the baby would never come. At that point, Angel’s words flooded my mind; and with one big push, my baby came completely out!

My midwife and nurse were shocked because it was my first pregnancy and they told me that it usually takes a while for the baby to come. This taught me a valuable lesson: you MUST ALWAYS listen to the voice within…no matter what the experts or anyone else says. I also learned that all that I needed to birth my baby was already on the inside of me. I didn’t need to ask anyone anything. I simply listened for the voice of God.

Angel’s words have stuck with me through each of my four deliveries and throughout other challenges in life. If you are in a pushing season, rejoice! Your victory is near!

PUSH

Dreams dashed over and over again,

Makes you feel like you’ll never ever win…

hopelessness and depression,

Seeks to drag you down,

But something inside

Says you won’t drown.

You renew your mind,

With God’s encouraging word,

No matter how outlandish or absurd…

Your dream may be;

That’s in your heart,

You saw the end, from the very start.

You pray, you push, and push on through,

Because you know that God promised

the victory to you.

Breakthrough has come!

Your victory is here,

Because you held to the promise,

When it didn’t seem near.

Praise God today and forever more,

For the victory that has

always been yours!
