Declaration & Exercise of the Week

Hi Everyone!!

This week’s declaration is based on Jeremiah 31:3 and is: God loves me with an everlasting love. He drew me with His unfailing love. I chose this verse because Valentine’s Day is approaching; and people tend to put unrealistic expectations on their spouses or significant others…..and then are disappointed when their expectations go unmet. The only unfailing love is Yeshua/Jesus. His love is not based on 1 day of the year; and it was a decision that He made……regardless of our choices and behaviors. God loves us period. He loves us because He chose to.  It is my hope that when people read and meditate Jeremiah 31:3, that they would get a revelation of the God kind of love…..as defined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

The exercise for this week is a half squat using a chair. It strengthens the glutes; which helps to prevent lower back, hamstring and knee injuries. Have an EXCELLENT rest of your week and I’ll see you around!

Hi Everyone!!

I hope that all finds you well. My family and I took a little staycation last week, so I’m just getting back into my groove. This week’s declaration is based on Proverbs 4:21 and is: I will keep my eyes on God’s word and see myself in it. Be sure to say it and meditate on it to get it down from your head into your heart. The exercise of the week is hoola hooping. When done correctly, it can strengthen your core muscles; so be sure to pull your belly button into your spine to keep your core muscles engaged. Declaration & Exercise of the Week

Greetings Everyone!!

This week’s declaration is based on John 3:16 (NIV) and is: God love’s me. Say it, and meditate on it, and say it some more, until you believe it! The exercise is a health bounce on the mini-trampoline. It’s gentle on the joints. It increases the functionality of the lymphatic system; which fights bacterial and viral infections. Affirmation & Exercise of the week

Welcome to 2020 Everyone!!!

I hope you’re as excited about this new year as I am; and in great expectation of all things excellent! The first affirmation of the year is: “Everything I do is blessed;” and is based on the following two verses:

Deuteronomy 28:8 (AMP) – The Lord will command the blessing upon you in your storehouses and in all that you undertake, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.

Deuteronomy 30:9 (MEV) –The Lord your God will make you prosper in every work of your hand, in the offspring of your body, and in the offspring of your livestock, and in the produce of your land, for good. For the Lord will once again rejoice over you for good, just as He rejoiced over your fathers,

Affirmation & Exercise of the Week

Greetings Everyone!!

I have been MIA for the past two weeks. Dental and Doctor appointments threw off my entire schedule. I’m glad that’s done with! Here I am, back at it again! In this week’s vid, you’ll find an affirmation based on Psalm 89:34. God is faithful to His covenant and He NEVER breaks His promises. How comforting and reassuring! Affirmation and Exercise of the Week

Hello All!

I hope your November is off to a GREAT start and will continue on in greatness for the remainder of the month! This week’s affirmation is based on Nehemiah 8:10: The joy of the Lord is my strength. I remember when I was in college and been told that I would have to red-shirt the year, due to an injury. I cried like a baby. My sister (who went to a college within 20 minutes of mine) came to visit me the same day. After being in her presence for only a few minutes and laughing so hard that I couldn’t feel my cheeks; the sadness and depression that I felt previously had dissipated. Another time when I worked as a Fitness Director, I was big MAD when I had arrived early at work for this company to come and repair some of the equipment after the set time. They had pushed the time back three times during the same day; and then at the end of the day after I had stayed late and waited for them, they called and said that they weren’t coming until the next day. I called my sister. Again, within minutes, she had me laughing so hard that the anger broke, and I was able to forgive the people.  I think my sister, all comedians and anyone who bring laughter are an absolute gift from our Heavenly Father.

There have been moments of frustrations in some of my days that have come to a complete halt just by something one of my children said or did that resulted in deep belly laughter. Recently, I’ve gotten into the practice of doing 10 belly laughs daily to remind myself that joy is a choice and readily available….as is all blessings of the Most High. This week’s exercise is 10 belly laughs each day. Are you in? I love God, because He only tells us things that are beneficial to us.  There are so many benefits to laughing such as mood improvement, stress relief, feeling good, better breathing, pain relief and so much more. Laughter also strengthens the immune system; which fights off germs, disease and viruses. So God knew precisely that the words spoken by Nehemiah thousands of years ago; would still be true today. His joy dismantles grief (as in the case of the people being addressed by Nehemiah) and all other heavy and negative emotions; as well as strengthens us on every level, spirit, soul and body. Praise God/YHWH!

Declaration & Exercise of the Week

Hello All!

This week’s declaration is based on Hebrews 10:23: God is faithful. Meditate and speak this word to yourself to get it from your head into your heart. God is the most trustworthy being. He’s always there and His word never fails. I remember back in college when I lost my confidence in shooting the basketball for a period of three or four games. I don’t remember what caused it; but I do remember how I got out of it. For those three of four games, I did not take one shot. My coaches were frustrated; but very patient and encouraging with me. In the shoot around practice prior to my coming out of this drought; one of the assistant coaches worked with me for the entire practice. He told me that I had the green light and I was to shoot the ball every time it touched my hands. He didn’t care if I missed every shot.  After that shoot around, I went back to my room and read Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I spent the entire day thinking on this verse. I wrote it on the inside of my hands as a reminder. Needless to say, the shooting drought ended at that evening’s game. It was God’s promise that helped me overcome a fear that I had developed. What is one thing that God’s promise has helped you overcome?

This week actually includes three combinations of exercise for both upper and lowerbody: Alternating Squat with upright row, Alternating Lunge with Overhead Press, and Alternating Curtsey Lunge with Bicep Curls.
