This week’s declaration is based on Deuteronomy 31:8 and is: The Lord will lead me. He Himself is with me. He will not fail or leave me. I am worry-free and courageous! This powerful declaration is such a confidence booster and comfort.
The exercise of the week is a squat and push up combination for a warm up; or either for a workout. I use it for both. I love body weight exercises and feel that it’s advantageous to train the body as a unit, over training individual muscles….unless there is an injury or major muscle weakness/imbalance. I’ve included the exercises in this video. The declaration and demo is about two minutes. The additional eight minutes includes the full workout from ten squats and push ups, down to one of each. My two daughters are in the video with me. If nothing else, you’ll get a little laugh.
As always, have an EXCELLENT rest of your week; and remember that the joy of the Lord is your strength!
A friend of mine sent me a text at the end of last week, regarding a concern that the doctor had about her husband. I could tell by the tone of the text that I needed to seek YHWH/God on their behalf. I asked YHWH/God what was on His heart concerning this circumstance. He brought me to some bible verses; as well as gave other words of encouragement. I received a message today that all was well. It was not surprise to me at all, because God’s word is true and it is the law. Laws are constant and yield favorable results if you abide by it; and less than favorable results should you decide otherwise. She let me know of an issue that she was dealing with. Again, I went to my Father in prayer, asking Him for his heart on the matter; and He directed me to a verse; and prompted me to give them the book: “Of Monkeys and Dragons: Freedom From The Tyranny of Disease” by Michelle Longo O’Donnell.
I immediately got up to get the book so that I could take it to her later on. I began thumbing through and reading sections here and there. I then came to the part for the reason that she wrote the book, and felt that it is quite fitting for anyone who reads this post. I first read this book more than ten years ago, and it absolutely changed the way that I looked at disease. She tells about how she had had pneumonia for two weeks. She had come home, fell asleep and had a dream. She was walking along a path and noticed these monkeys that started biting her. She started jumping around to get them off of her. She heard a voice that said: “Don’t look at them. Look straight ahead down the path.” She was scared that they’d eat her; but she obeyed the voice. The monkeys froze. Whenever she looked at them they would bite; but whenever she focused on the path, they would freeze. As she continued down the path, she noticed two big dragons coming towards her. She was scared, but looked away anyway; and they too froze. When she woke up from the dream, all of the pneumonia symptoms were gone.
I thought this story was very fitting for now. If each person makes a decision to focus on the path that YHWH/God has designed his/her life, the fear-driven virus will become paralyzed and will not be able to touch you.
One of the best ways to build our confidence in YHWH/God, is to declare His word and promises out loud. Download this personalized copy of Psalm 91 and speak it twice a day all week; and teach it to your children.
I’m so thankful to God for His prophets! Amos 3:7 says: “For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.” One thing that I am seeing, is the unity of message among many prophets. This post is comes from “The Sound of Heaven” blog. Check it out! There are a plethora of other trusted prophetic messages shared on this blog.
The Lord has been speaking to me in contrast between what has been and what He has planned; showing me all He is redeeming, restoring and renewing over our current generation, past generations and future generations.“May the Lord, the God of your ancestors, increase you a thousand times and bless you as He has promised!” […]
I hope that all finds you well. My family and I took a little staycation last week, so I’m just getting back into my groove. This week’s declaration is based on Proverbs 4:21 and is: I will keep my eyes on God’s word and see myself in it.Be sure to say it and meditate on it to get it down from your head into your heart. The exercise of the week is hoola hooping. When done correctly, it can strengthen your core muscles; so be sure to pull your belly button into your spine to keep your core muscles engaged. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you around the blog!
I have read SO many great and encouraging posts today. I’m so grateful for all of you who encourage and speak the truth of God’s word. God bless you all, exceedingly and abundantly above all you could ever ask or imagine. I’m sharing this one; as a reminder to myself. Thank you Sound of Heaven!
Today we’re fasting from the thought that says, “I’m having such a hard time defeating the devil.” LET’S CHANGE IT TODAY 1. The devil has already been defeated—at the cross of Jesus Christ! (1 John 3:8) 2. It’s the fight of faith, not the fight over the devil. Jesus defeated the devil. (Colossians 2:15) BELIEVE […]
